Terahertz Absorption Performance Based on Urethane Foam Microstructure Model

Recent advancements in terahertz band applications necessitate high-performance RF absorbers. This study employs the Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method to rigorously analyze the absorption performance of urethane pyramidal absorbers. In particular, the investigation focuses on the influence of the microstructure of urethane foam on the absorption of electromagnetic waves within the terahertz band. Numerical simulations unravel intricate electromagnetic behaviors.

Abstract

Recent advancements in terahertz band applications necessitate high-performance RF absorbers. This study employs the Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method to rigorously analyze the absorption performance of urethane pyramidal absorbers. In particular, the investigation focuses on the influence of the microstructure of urethane foam on the absorption of electromagnetic waves within the terahertz band. Numerical simulations unravel intricate electromagnetic behaviors.
