Investigation of Frequency-Dependent Electrical Properties of Nanocomposites Based on Epoxy Resin Reinforced with Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes

A comprehensive investigation is conducted to characterize nanocomposite systems composed of an epoxy resin and different concentrations (0.3,0.5,1,1.5,2 and $3 \mathbf{w t} \%$) of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs). The study focuses on assessing their electromagnetic properties over a frequency range spanning from 100Hz to 1MHz. Complex impedance, dielectric constant, and conductivity are systematically examined, and the results are consistently correlated with theoretical aspects. Understanding the intricate frequency-dependent electrical dynamics of nanocomposites is crucial to optimize their performances and to further promote the next-generation of polymer-based technologies.
