Analysis of Influence of Scanning Angle Error on Microwave Imaging Quality
Microwave imaging has garnered significant attention for its applicability in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). The precision of scanning angles plays a critical role in determining imaging quality, thereby directly influencing the effect of microwave imaging applications. In this paper, we undertake a comprehensive analysis of the scanning angle error in microwave imaging. Subsequently, we define four evaluation parameters aimed at quantitatively assessing imaging quality. Through a rigorous series of simulations, we have further study on the impact of angle error on image quality. The simulation results indicate that the sensitivity of imaging quality to angle error is influenced by scanning parameters such as antenna beamwidth, scanning distance (the distance between antenna and imaging plane) and aperture size. The research presented in this paper offers guidance and assistance for parameter determination in microwave imaging systems. Furthermore, the analytical methodology proposed herein exhibits a degree of generality.
