Comparison of Electromagnetic Parameters of Nanocrystalline Cores

This paper proposes a method of comparing toroidal nanocrystalline cores of different manufacturers, which includes both measurements and mathematical calculations of parameters such as magnetic flux density, permeability, saturation current, inductance of one coil, and volume of the magnetic conductor. For validation, the calculations are compared with the manufacturer’s datasheet. This method allows not to limit only to the data presented in the datasheet for 10 kHz and 100 kHz, but to see how the parameters of the core change in the whole range from 20 Hz to 200 kHz. This method will allow the electromagnetic core to be matched to the most demanding specifications by providing a broader view of its range of action.
