Cover Feature: Adaptation of the BaAl4 Type to Small Cations: The Case of NaGa4 (Chem. Eur. J. 59/2024)
The Cover Feature illustrates defects in the NaGa4 structure caused by the mutual exchange of Na atoms and Ga₂ dumbbells. These defects form at elevated temperatures and can be interpreted as the embedding of CeMg2Si2-type segments into the BaAl4-type matrix. More information can be found in the Research Article by Y. Grin and co-workers (DOI: 10.1002/chem.202402457).
