Influence of the Type of Antiretroviral Treatment on the Time to Reach High Pharmacotherapy Complexity in People Living With HIV
In summary, NNRTI-based regimens were associated with a lower likelihood of developing high MRCI compared to INSTI-based regimens, which was associated with a higher likelihood. These conclusions are based on a profile of PLWH that included advanced age and a high prevalence of comorbidities and polypharmacy. Identifying high MRCI may help us implement pharmacotherapeutic optimization strategies to improve health outcomes.
