Parafie Spytkowice, Bachowice i Ryczów w średniowieczu i początkach epoki nowożytnej
SPYTKOWICE, BACHOWICE AND RYCZÓW PARISHES IN THE MIDDLE AGES: SOURCES FOR RESEARCH AND FORMATION OF PARISH DISTRICTS The problem of the genesis and shaping of the parish network in Poland is complicated. This issue can be explored on the basis of the few surviving sources. The aim of the article is to present the most important sources for research on the origins of the parish in the diocese of Krakow. The first part of the work is devoted to this thema. From these sources, references to the studied area were discussed. Then, the article attempts to show the origins of the parish in Spytkowice, Bachowice and Ryczów and its parish district. The parishes in this area had unstable districts that changed frequently. The parish affiliation of many localities is problematic. This applies especially to Bachowice and Ryczów. In the studied area, we can observe the density of parishes. This, in turn, had a positive impact on the access of the faithful to the Church.
