Experiences in a study abroad utilizing deliberate psychological education
Abstract Faculty‐led study abroad programs promote professional and personal development for counseling students. Through interpretive phenomenological analysis, we explored how Latine bilingual counseling students ( N = 7) experienced a study abroad utilizing Deliberate Psychological Education. We organized findings into three themes that spoke to cultural immersion, presence and validation, and connections.
