Heart transplantation is a complex procedure aimed at recovering patients with terminal heart failure. Physiotherapy plays a crucial role in the rehabilitation process, helping with functional recovery, improving respiratory capacity and optimizing quality of life. The aim of this paper is to discuss the main physiotherapy guidelines and interventions in the post-cardiac transplant period, highlighting the importance of this role within the multidisciplinary approach. It has been shown that physiotherapy plays a fundamental role in all phases of post-transplantation, from early mobilization to the introduction of personalized exercises, evolving the patient's recovery to their daily life again.
