Pedagogical mediation in the cognitive development of learning
The concept of pedagogical mediation in light of Vygotsky's historical-cultural theory highlights its relevance in the digital age as a transformative education model. The integration of digital technologies can transform traditional pedagogical practices and enrich the educational experience, positioning pedagogical mediation as a central pillar for students' cognitive and social development. Analyzing the evolution of education from antiquity to the digital era, the study highlights the importance of adapting pedagogical methodologies to effectively integrate digital tools. As we move forward in an increasingly complex and interconnected educational world, pedagogical mediation remains a cornerstone for effective education, in the quest to continually strengthen research and development in this area to ensure that all students have access to a transformative education, providing the skills necessary to navigate and thrive in a society in constant transformation, immersed in liquid modernity.
