Practical Research on Controllable Line Commutated Converter in Resisting Commutation Failure Caused by Filter Switching
This paper analyzes the impact of switching AC filters on the voltage of the AC system in a converter station and discusses the technical principles of Controllable Line Commutated Converter (CLCC). By comparing and analyzing the practical application of CLCC at the Shanghai A converter station, it is demonstrated that when the switching of AC filters causes three-phase AC voltage distortion, the CLCC can successfully withstand commutation failures. This provides a reference for the application of CLCC technology in other projects.
