Analysis of the Diffusion Process of Electric Energy Substitution Technology Considering the Differentiation of Enterprises Decision-Making

Electricity substitution is an important measure to absorb renewable energy and promote clean electricity consumption. To aid local governments in formulating rational strategies for promoting electrical energy substitution, this article conducted a simulation study on the diffusion level of electricity substitution technology in enterprises. Considering that enterprise decision-making is influenced not only by economic factors but also by various enterprise characteristics, this paper first utilizes the Fuzzy Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA) method to identify the significant influencing factors of enterprise decisions. Based on the primary influencing factors, the fundamental enterprise clusters of evolutionary game are generated, followed by the construction of an evolutionary game model of electrical energy substitution technologies that accounts for enterprise decision differentiation. The case analysis shows that whether the differentiation of enterprise decision-making is taken into account has a significant impact on the diffusion process of electricity substitution technology. The approach presented in this paper can construct clusters that better reflect local enterprise characteristics, thereby making the deduction of the diffusion process of electrical energy substitution technologies more closely aligned with local realities.
