Dispatch Problem of Large Power Grid Material Quality Inspection Base Based on Improved Genetic Algorithm

In response to the scheduling problem of a large power grid material quality inspection base with complex flexibility, a mathematical programming model is constructed with the objective of minimizing the completion time of material inspections. Based on the characteristics of this problem, an improved genetic algorithm is proposed on the basis of utilizing genetic algorithm as a tool for solution. In the encoding design, a two-level encoding scheme is employed for the base equipment and the materials to be inspected, effectively ensuring the generation of feasible solutions. Furthermore, a tournament selection strategy is introduced for population selection, and a Precedence Operation Crossover (POX) operation is applied to chromosomes considering the problem's features. Additionally, chromosomes undergo random mutation. The proposed approach is validated using an instance of transformer quality inspection in the current base. By solving the scheduling problem of the inspection base, the efficiency of material quality inspection in the power grid is significantly improved.
