Theoretical and Field Measurement Analysis of Wind Vibration Response of Lightning Rods
If the inherent frequency of the lightning rod structure itself is close to or the same as the vibration frequency under wind excitation, it will cause resonance, which can affect the normal production and use of the lightning rod. If the resonance is severe, it can also threaten the safety of the structure. There are many cases where lightning rods are damaged under wind loads. To ensure the structural safety of lightning rods in high-voltage substations, a deep exploration of the wind-induced vibration mechanism of lightning rods in high-voltage substations is conducted. Based on existing measured data and theoretical calculations of critical wind speed, the deformation of key parts of lightning rods and the internal forces and stresses of key sections are calculated. The causes of wind-induced vibration of various lightning rods are analyzed, and the working performance of the structure is judged accordingly. This undoubtedly has important theoretical significance and engineering application value.
