Green Communication Incorporated Blue LEDVLC System for Indoor Applications
Visible light communication (VLC) permits low-cost, simple as well as flexible wireless optical communication transmission. A blue light emitting diode (LED) based VLC system for indoor applications is realized at 10 Gbps data rate. Laguerre-Gaussian mode of [0, 3] is used to enhance the system capacity under severe climates. Simulative results reveals VLC range of $10-60 \mathrm{~m}$ with signal power of 8.95 to 0.49 W under air, 8.95 to 0.49 W under light rain, 8.88 to 0.470 W under moderate rain and 8.84 to 0.46 W under heavy rain for 0 and $1 \mathrm{~dB} / \mathrm{km}$ additional losses. Highest signal power of 0.00149 and 0.000257847 W at input and output is obtained respectively. Besides, optical signal noise ratio of 101.735 dB is obtained. System offers optimum performance over exiting designs.
