Kinematic Modelling of A Smart Robotic ARM for EV Charging

Electric vehicles are seen as a viable solution to environmental degradation caused by combustion-based gasoline-powered vehicles. With technological progress and the increase in demand for green transport methods, the number of electric vehicles has substantially increased in recent years. The main reason behind this development is the integration of robotics in the production process. During the last few years, the use of robotic frameworks in electric vehicles frameworks and production has been growing, allowing industrial firms to consolidate their leading commercial position and maintain the economy. Robotics can be used to automate every stage of vehicle production, from the assembly line to quality assurance and can help to reduce the time it takes to process a job by completing at least $1 / 3^{\text {rd }}$ of a thousand hours. It can also reduce the chances of producing a defect by at least 50%. Robotic arms can rapidly replace jigs and fixtures in the product line, allowing even the most robotic-dependent human. Robots can be used to complete up to 20 numerous and different products in any random assortment. Robotic systems, or robots, have another essential aspect in EV charging stations. Its functions can help to eliminate duplicate production and guarantee manufacturing consistency. Robotic design and operation depend extensively on kinematics and dynamics. Kinematics involves examining robotic system design and mechanics to ascertain their actions and flexibility in motion. This work presents the kinematic modelling of robotic arm of 5 degrees of freedom where it can be utilized for charging electric vehicles.
