Smart Healing: Revolutionizing Patient Care with Automated Beds and Health Tracking
The automated bed system integrates advanced mechanical adjustments along with health tracking in a single patient care technology, serving as a big leap in patient care advancement. The Automated Bed Module is the main module of the system and has three other secondary sub-systems: Health Tracking Module, the module for Communication and Control system. The Automated Bed Module comprises of a sturdy bed frame with individual adjustable sections driven by linear actuators and monitored by several sensors. Its Health Tracking Module takes blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate and oxygen saturation (SpO 2) measurements around the clock, then processes that data in real-time before storing it on the cloud for analysis. The Central Control Unit (CCU) receives data and control from various sources such as data integration and control, user interface (for healthcare providers and patients) and secure connectivity. The integrated system provides for automated adjustment and continuous health monitoring to help improve patient comfort and recovery, which Sigfox is positioning as a pathway toward smarter, more reactive health care spaces.
