Enhancing Safety Against Flash Hazard in a 400kv (AIS) by Incorporation: A Fault Current Limiter in ETAP
To enhance the safety and reliability of the 400 kV bus system, it is essential to mitigate the impact of faults, whether they are three-phase or single-phase. This can be achieved by employing a fault current limiter to restrict the fault current, thus reducing the incident energy and potential damage in the event of a fault. The scope of this study is to augment safety protocols and mitigate the risks of flashovers in high-voltage substations.
