Design of Digital Video Storage System Based on H.266/VVC Encoding Algorithm
The cost of obtaining ultra-high definition videos has significantly decreased, bringing about explosive data growth. The H.266/VVC standard can handle a wider range of video formats and content, providing an efficient, flexible, and unified encoding and compression framework for existing and emerging video applications. The research method of this article is based on the H.266/VVC encoding framework, studying the four parameter and six parameter affine motion compensation prediction mathematical models, and constructing a layered architecture of a digital video storage system consisting of terminal layer, application layer, functional layer, support layer, and data layer. A comparative experiment was conducted between H.266/VVC and H.265/HEVC, including technical and compression cost comparisons. The results showed that the compression cost based on the H.266VVC encoding algorithm was much lower than that of the H.265/HEVC encoding algorithm, avoiding problems such as image lag, format incompatibility, and audio misalignment in compressed digital videos. This solved the problems of cumbersome digital video compression coding and excessive CPU load, and significantly improved compression coding efficiency.
