Design and Simulation of Speed Limit Control for Electric Vehicles in Variable Zones

The proposed work addresses safety concerns near schools, hospitals, colleges, and accident-prone areas by introducing an innovative system for dynamic speed control in high-priority zones. Using strategically positioned transmitters that emit distinct signals within predetermined ranges, the system makes use of radiofrequency technology. Automatic speed adjustments are made possible by vehicles equipped with microcontrollers and RF receivers that react to these signals. A user-friendly interface featuring an LCD display and accelerator control is also incorporated into the system. One unique feature is that traffic signals are automatically programmed to turn green for priority passage in response to ambulance signals. Key components include RF transmitters, 433 MHz RF receivers, H-Bridge L298, DC geared motor, potentiometer, LCD display, 12V SMPS power supply, and RGB LEDs for traffic indications. The expected outcomes include enhanced safety, efficient traffic management, quick emergency response, a user friendly interface, and adaptive system performance. This project amalgamates technology and safety to contribute to a responsive and secure traffic control framework.
