Research on Elimination Method of Remanence Magnetic in Large Power Transformers Based on Energy Storage Oscillation
In our power system, the transformer is one of the key power equipment, and its normal operation is crucial for the stability of the power grid. However, due to the existence of hysteresis effect, the remanence will be retained in the iron core of the transformer after switching, and the closing of the gate in the presence of residual magnetism will cause excitation inrush, which will cause damages to the transformer itself, and may also pose a threat to the stability of the power grid, and increase the risk of power grid failure. In order to effectively deal with this problem, a universal, reliable and fast residual magnetization elimination method is needed. To this end, this paper proposes an energy storage oscillation method for the elimination of remanent magnetization of large power transformers, and respectively, through simulation and experimental comparison of several methods of demagnetization results, demagnetization time to validate the effectiveness of the method, rapidity, and ultimately in the practical application of the method has been verified, the method of remanent magnetization elimination time is short, effective.
