The Application of AES Algorithm in Intelligent Wireless Network Information Security Protection System
With the rapid development of smart wireless network technology, information security is increasingly highlighting its importance. While smart wireless networks provide convenient connectivity and efficient data transmission, they also face unprecedented security challenges. These challenges include, but are not limited to, denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, man-in-the-middle (MitM) attacks, and malware propagation, etc., which seriously threaten the integrity and confidentiality of network data. This paper first reviews the existing research results in the field of information security of smart wireless networks, which provides a solid theoretical foundation and research background for in-depth analysis. Subsequently, this paper describes in detail how to construct an intelligent wireless network information security protection system based on the AES algorithm, including the system's design ideology, architecture, and specific implementation methods. The system aims to improve the confidentiality and integrity of the data transmission process through AES encryption technology, and effectively resist various types of network attacks. In order to verify the effectiveness and security of the system, a series of experiments are conducted in this paper. The experimental results show that in the face of DoS attack, the encryption speed of the system shows a trend of periodic decline, which reflects the impact of the attack on the system performance. The fluctuation of encryption speed is even more irregular under MitM attacks, which further highlights the complexity and difficulty of defending against such attacks. It was found that the information security protection system for smart wireless networks based on the AES algorithm demonstrated different performance in the face of different types of network attacks. Specifically, DoS attacks lead to periodic decreases in encryption speed, while MitM attacks cause more irregular fluctuations in encryption speed, revealing the complexity of the attacks and the difficulty of defending against them. Meanwhile, malware propagation, although having less impact on encryption speed, was still observed to fluctuate periodically, reflecting malware activity patterns and the effectiveness of network defence measures. These findings provide important empirical support for information security protection in smart wireless networks.
