Color based Product Sorting Machine using Raspberry Pi
The fruit and candies industries make extensive use of color-based object sorting techniques. This system suggests an image processing technique for identifying color and classifying objects. Once the sweets have been recognized, they are sorted into bins or baskets using a mechanism. We employ a camera with electrical circuitry and a three-bin sorting system to show this method. The system uses a Raspberry Pi connected to a controller circuit. The controller circuit’s camera, which is connected to it, can identify the color of a small item in front of it. With a motor, an object is placed into the camera chamber. A signal is given to the sorting system after the type has been determined, and the sorter system then utilizes a motor to move the arranged tubes towards a certain region. A feeder then pushes the item towards the sorting tubs, and the feeder carries in the following item. The action details are transferred from the cloud server platform to the IOT server to track the number of items sorted by section. Results prove that the proposed system classifies and sorts the objects effectively.
