Research on Key Technology of C-NPC for DC Distribution Network

In view of the existing problems of current voltage source converters, such as high cost, large volume and complex control, this paper studies and proposes a new topology of voltage source converters that is more suitable for DC distribution network applications, namely cascade three-level converters, and carries out mathematical modeling and principle analysis, completing the construction of simulation models and basic debugging.

Abstract

In view of the existing problems of current voltage source converters, such as high cost, large volume and complex control, this paper studies and proposes a new topology of voltage source converters that is more suitable for DC distribution network applications, namely cascade three-level converters, and carries out mathematical modeling and principle analysis, completing the construction of simulation models and basic debugging.
