Novel Framework Design of MIMO Antenna for 5G Applications

Wireless communication is complicated to handle when the user requests services, so to improve the speed, a MIMO (multi-input, multi-output) antenna is used. When the array elements of an antenna are increased, the range between the array and antenna sizes is reduced. So coupling between the elements is very high, and then the capacity of a channel is decreased. Several existing methods are employed, and some limitations, such as reduced dielectric, bandwidth, and gain, are addressed to overcome these limitations and increase their performance. We introduced the proposed work showing an incorporated multi-input multi-output (MIMO) antenna solution for Long Term Evolution (LTE) 4 G and 5G capable of wireless communication to enhance the channel capacity for good communication. Taconic RF-35 dielectric material is used (the dielectric constant is 3.5). Two square-shaped patch antennas and T-shaped ground structures are employed for both 4G and 5G applications, with the multimode operation achieving a bandwidth of -20 dB. HFSS 13.0 is used for the simulation process.
