A EXPERIÊNCIA DE PSICÓLOGOS CLÍNICOS FRENTE AOS DESAFIOS NO MANEJO DO PACIENTE COM RISCO DE SUICÍDIO
The experience of a clinical psychologist dealing with a person in a suicidal crisis is a complex challenge that requires technical and emotional preparation. The objective was to understand the clinical experience and challenges of clinical psychologists when dealing with patients at risk of suicide. This is field research, of an applied and descriptive nature with a qualitative methodological approach. The study included 10 psychologists who have worked at the clinic for at least 1 year, with active registration with the Regional Council of Paraíba (CRP/13) and who have already helped or are helping people in crisis (suicidal). Data collection took place through a semi-structured interview with triggering questions, carried out in a virtual or in-person environment, with voice recording consented by signing the authorization form, respecting the ethical aspects of Resolution 510/16. The lexical analysis of the textual data was carried out using the software R and IRaMuTeQ, which allowed the separation of the corpus into five semantic classes, namely: Class 1 was called Psychology Care; 2 was called Meaning of life; 3, Reception; 4, Support network; to 5, Challenge; 6, Diagnostics; and class 7 was called Risk of suicide. Next, a Similarity Analysis was carried out, aiming to analyze the relationship and/or connection between the words. As a result, there was difficulty in contacting and involving the family in the psychotherapeutic process of the patient in crisis, with stigma and denial of emotional suffering being noticeable.
