Prozessüberwachung durch bildverarbeitende KI

Abstract The proceeding automation of industrial manufacturing processes has reduced human presence on modern shop floors. Since industrial processes are still afflicted with malfunctioning, autonomous monitoring solutions are demanded. This article presents a forming use case in which AI-based image recognition is used to monitor process behaviour and prompt stops when needed. The knowledge base utilized by the AI is obtained by examining descriptive examples of abnormal process behaviour.
