Research on the Energy Characteristics of Mongolian Long Tunes Based on Acoustic Analysis
“Long tune” in Mongolian means long folk song. The Mongolian-Chinese Dictionary prepared by the Mongolian Language Research Office of Inner Mongolia University defines Mongolian long tune pastoral songs as “grassland tunes”, which refers to the traditional songs of long folk tunes with a strong traditional style on the grassland of Inner Mongolia. Singing acoustics is a cross-disciplinary study of singing using voice acoustics, voice medicine, music acoustics, music psychology, and its object of study is the principle of singing vocalization (including various registers, voice parts, true voice and falsetto, etc.) and singing training methods. This paper investigates the energy characteristics of Mongolian long tune based on the method of acoustic analysis, and explores the physical attributes of long folk song performances.
