Analysis of the Implication of Fishing Substation Voltage on Energy Efficiency of Mechanized Oil Production

The outgoing line of the field substation feeding the electrotechnical complex of producing wells is considered. Analytical expressions have been obtained for calculating the operating parameters of a submersible electric motor, which is powered through a control station equipped with a frequency converter. Refined expressions are presented for calculating the active and reactive power consumed by a submersible asynchronous electric motor and losses in a step-up transformer, taking into account the influence of the inclusion of frequency converters in the power supply circuit. An example is given of calculating the best voltage value of a field substation, at which minimum specific energy consumption is possible during mechanized oil production for a hypothetical outgoing line feeding an electrical complex of producing wells for two variants of the power supply scheme: without frequency converters and with a frequency converter in one of the control stations. The conclusion is made about the influence of the equipment of the control station.
