The Network Resources Optimization in Tele- and Infocommunication Systems

The article proposes an algorithm to solve optimization issue for network resources depending on the requirements for throughput. The optimization problem is formulated as the task of ensuring the structural reliability for communication network. The network is represented as a state graph with a finite number of switching nodes and communication lines. For it compile such arguments as the network topology and the number of operating communication directions, the capacity of switching nodes and the technical condition of the network is taken into account. By using a simulation program, the throughput of each communication line is analyzed, the availability factor and the level of consumer demand are calculated. The result of the solution is proposed as a number of options for redistributing network resources to meet consumer demand. The program does not consider the presence of backup communication lines or alternative routes that are in inactive mode. The choice of the best option depends on the selected redistribution criterion.
