Research on the Use of Amorphous Steel in an Electric Motor for UAVs
Research on the use of amorphous steel in an electric motor for UAVs is the object of this scientific article, the application means the manufacture of sheets for the subsequent assembly of a magnetic circuit for ED-BAS-4950/400. A comparison of the effectiveness of using a soft magnetic amorphous material relative to the initially selected and previously used cold-rolled electrical steel 2421 in the electric motor for the UA V ED-BAS-4950/400 is the subject of this scientific article. Full-scale tests are carried out, including the following works: measurement of the active resistance and inductance of the stator winding; removal of the dependence of the counter-EMF on the speed of the electric motor; testing of the electric motor under load with an air screw; determination of the idle moment in generator mode. To conduct field tests, 4 experimental samples of ED-BAS-4950/400 electric motors are being manufactured, two samples of which contain magnetic cores made of amorphous steel, the other two samples contain magnetic cores made of electrical steel 2421.
