Asynchronous Vector Drive Control System with Two-Zone Regulation in Relative Units
The paper presents an asynchronous electric drive control system, which can be installed in electric cars and electric locomotives. The paper describes signal transducers for an asynchronous vector drive control system that ensure two-zone shaft speed control, providing field weakening in accordance with a power and voltage limiting strategy. Attention is paid to reducing the control system to relative units, which makes it possible to adapt the program of the control microcontroller to a new motor and to a frequency converter by determining only the machine and sensor technical-and-operation data, but not the parameters of the regulators. These parameters only require tuning, depending on the noise level in a specific technical solution.
