Face Recognition Deploying Smart IoT System
In the modern world, we rely on the Internet to meet our needs for peer-to-peer services, email, and online browsing. IoT, or the Internet of Things, refers to a physical object that has an Internet protocol address and can communicate with other internet-enabled devices. Here, the most crucial thing is to instantly guarantee security between the communication devices. This paper introduces an intelligent IoT face recognition system designed and implemented using Raspberry Pi and Node-RED. The system captures face images through a camera module for face recognition. The key parts of the system include hardware connection, software installation and configuration, function implementation, and system testing and verification. Experimental results show that the system can reliably provide access control, attendance management, and smart home control functions in actual application scenarios, providing an effective solution for IoT deployment. Through this study, we show how to use existing technologies to build an intelligent IoT application, providing a reference for future research and development.
