Recognizing the Silent Enemy: Evaluation Program for Early Detection of Arterial Hypertension
Globally, high blood pressure and cardiovascular diseases represent prominent causes of mortality. In the Peruvian context, these health conditions are highly prevalent, underscoring the urgent requirement to promote preventive measures and effectively raise awareness among the population about the seriousness of this issue. Consequently, it is proposed the development of a program designed to facilitate the early detection of these diseases through the collection of user information and its subsequent comparison with the database provided by the Ministry of Health. The program assesses the user's risk regarding hypertension and their potential predisposition to cardiovascular diseases so that it can provide personalized recommendations aimed at improving their lifestyle. The results obtained from a study involving ten individuals confirm the close relationship between hypertension and cardiovascular diseases, emphasizing hypertension as a key indicator of these conditions. This research underscores the importance of early detection of hypertension in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, contributing to the enhancement of cardiac health management.
