Development of an Automated Irrigation Control System with Electrochemically Activated Water in Greenhouse Complexes

This paper deals with the development of an automated irrigation system in greenhouse complexes using electrochemically activated water. The main focus is on the integration of modern sensors, pumps, valves, and control systems based on PLC and PC for precise control and regulation of temperature, air and soil humidity, and soil pH. The use of electrochemical water activation products (anolyte and catholyte) has shown significant effects on plant health and growth, helping to reduce disease and improve nutrient availability. Mathematical modeling was used to analyze and optimize the irrigation system, allowing for the prediction of its behavior under different conditions and the development of effective management strategies. The implementation of the automated system and the developed control algorithm leads to a significant reduction in water and energy use. The results of the study confirm the value of this innovative approach to improving the productivity and sustainability of greenhouse agriculture.
