The Effect of the Load Factor of a Power Transformer and Asymmetric Phase Loads on Power Losses and Electrical Safety in a 380V TN-C Type Power Supply System

The article discusses the most commonly used types of 380 V artificial grounding systems for powering household electric consumers, as well as their advantages and disadvantages. Issues of the current state of power quality. The existing regulatory framework related to the quality of electricity is considered. Possible hardware methods for improving the quality of electricity, as well as the principle of their operation. A model of the electric network on which the studies were carried out, as well as the results on them, are given. The relationship between the asymmetry of single-phase loads, active power losses depending on the value of the transformer load and the values of asymmetrical single-phase electrical loads is shown, as well as some aspects related to electrical safety and electrical injuries of consumers during the operation of single-phase electrical appliances in the 380V power supply system of TN -C type are considered.
