Triangular Trihedral Corner Reflector Analysis Using Wire-Grid and MoM with Pulse Basis Functions
The problem of analyzing the scattering characteristics of corner reflecting structures in general and the triangular trihedral corner reflector in particular always attracts attention because of its many practical applications. The method of moments is used in such analysis due to the simplicity of its algorithm and low computational cost. Therefore, in this paper, a comparative investigation is carried out in this paper using the wire grid approach that based on the method of moments with pulse basis functions for analyzing the scattering characteristics of triangular trihedral corner reflectors. The accuracy of the obtained results is evaluated by a comprehensive comparison with calculated and measured results from earlier publications. The efficiency of using this technique for analyzing complex scattering structures is verified by the good agreement of the compared results.
