A 0.671 W/mm2 Power Density and 96.1% Peak Efficiency Dual-Path Buck Converter with Ground Noise Cancellation and Overshoot Suppression Feedback Technique
The proposed dual-path buck converter for Internet-ofThing (IoT) applications and portable devices reduces the inductor current and voltage stress to achieve 96.1% peak efficiency. With large voltage across flying capacitor, small size of flying capacitor is used to accomplish $0.671 \mathrm{~W} / \mathrm{mm}^{2}$ power density. By applying the ground noise cancellation, the load regulation is improved by 1.11%. The overshoot suppression feedback suppresses the overshoot to 45 mV and accelerates transient response in $6 \mu \mathrm{~s}$ with a load variation of 2.5 A.
