The Importance of Foreign Language Learning in the Education System (Review and Case Study)
One of the aspects of reaching universality is through communication. It is possible to transfer emotions, thoughts and information to others in various ways through communication. Education is also a communication process. Education is impossible without communication. The need for the use of foreign languages in the education process is felt much more today than in the past. Therefore, it will be useful in terms of getting better results to increase the level of language education in the education system. It is not possible to isolate foreign language education from general education systems. With globalization, foreign languages and cultures have started to take an important place in people's lives. In our country, great efforts have been made with contemporary education studies on foreign language education, and serious time and resources have been spent on this subject. However, in general, the targeted level of success in foreign language education could not be achieved. In this study, the importance of foreign language learning in our education system was investigated in light of the author's experiences and literature studies.
