RESULTS OF THE STUDY OF WINTER RYE VARIETIES UNDER THE CONDITIONS OF THE OPEN FOREST-STEPPE OF THE KRASNOYARSK TERRITORY

The research was carried out in 2021-2022 in the fields of the breeding crop rotation of the Krasnoyarsk Research Institute of Agriculture. The objects of the study were samples of winter rye Yeniseika, Arga, Krasnoyarskaya universalnaya, NP 5, NP 8, NP 9, 7/21, Sibirskaya 87, Irtyshskaya, Parom, Jantarnaya, Darvet, Alisa. Winter hardiness, lodging resistance, and yield were evaluated. The highest ratings were shown by the samples: for winter hardiness – Yeniseika, NP 5, NP 9, 7/21; for resistance to lodging – Arga, NP 8, Irtyshskaya, Darvet; for yield - Parom, NP 5, NP 9, 7/21, Darvet, Arga, NP 8. For further breeding work, promising samples with an optimal combination of economically valuable traits 7/21, NP 5, Parom are recommended.
