THE AGE STRUCTURE OF DIVNOGORSK IN 1959–1989

This article is devoted to the analysis of the evolution of the age composition of the young small town of Divnogorsk in the period from 1959 to 1989. The study is based on data from the All-Union population censuses, which makes it possible to compare the age structures of this city with the average values of other cities in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the RSFSR as a whole. Special attention is paid to the impact of these changes on the demographic landscape of the region, which contributes to a deeper understanding of population dynamics and the development of demographic process management to ensure sustainable socio-demographic development. The analysis of the materials showed and confirmed that Divnogorsk was indeed a young city in the first decades of its existence, the average age and the proportion of the elderly population were lower than in the RSFSR and the cities of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. At the same time, the proportion of children and the working-age population is higher.
