Venous thromboembolism and ovarian cancer risk: a Mendelian randomized study
The results of this study indicate that patients with a history of venous thromboembolism are at increased risk of developing ovarian cancer and point to possible associations between lipid metabolism genes, such as CYP4V2, and the development of ovarian cancer, which provide interesting directions for further basic research.
