Investigating the spinal cord CPG neural circuits with emphasis on STDP mechanism

In our current position paper, we present a novel approach for the neurostimulation of self-learning CPG using feedback loops and STDP-based circuitry. The scale-up of the previously presented work to the scale of the complete spinal circuitry with inputs from the brainstem and outputs to the motor neuronal pools - muscles feedback loops.

Abstract

In our current position paper, we present a novel approach for the neurostimulation of self-learning CPG using feedback loops and STDP-based circuitry. The scale-up of the previously presented work to the scale of the complete spinal circuitry with inputs from the brainstem and outputs to the motor neuronal pools - muscles feedback loops.
