Enhancing Oil Production Through Inclusive ESP Solutions
Abstract This paper introduces and evaluates the effectiveness of a comprehensive upgrade to the electrical submersible pump (ESP) systems implemented in Libya's Waha oil field, the country's most mature and giant oil field. This upgrade integrates advanced technologies across both downhole and surface components of the ESP systems, incorporating the latest digital ESP solutions tailored to meet customer operational requirements. The paper details how this extensive enhancement in ESP design has significantly improved system efficiency and performance. By modernizing conventional ESP setups. The upgrade addressed the limitations of outdated ESP systems, enhanced ESP monitoring capabilities, and significantly boosted oil production in Waha field.
