MORPHOLOGICAL AND ANATOMICAL STUDY OF SHOOTS OF GOAT WILLOW (SALIX CAPREA L.), NATIVE TO THE FAR EAST

Wild plants in our country are an important raw material base for the production of medicines. One of the promising sources of obtaining such drugs is salicylic species of the genus Salix L. (Willow), which have a sufficient raw material base in the country, high productivity and increased regenerative ability. Willow extracts have been used in folk medicine for more than 3,000 years, providing anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects. At the beginning of the last century, willow bark began to be studied for the content of biologically active substances, which contributed to the discovery of drugs such as salicylic acid and aspirin. Later, phenologlycosides, tannins, flavonoids, organic acids and ascorbic acid, polysaccharides, saponins and essential oils were found in the bark, which can affect the overall pharmacological effect. Currently, medicines based on willow bark are registered abroad. In our country, willow bark is only included. In our country, willow bark is included only in the composition of biologically active additives. We want to offer willow shoots, which have been actively studied recently, as a source of biologically active substances. This is an environmentally friendly type of raw material that can be used as a substitute for the main type of raw material - bark. Studies have been conducted and materials have been published on the morphological and anatomical study of the shoots of the white willow (Salix alba L.,), the willow of Babylon (Salix babylonica L.) and its hybrid with the white willow (Salix babylonica L. × Salix alba L.), shoots of three-staminate willow (Salix triandra L.) To create a general pharmacopoeia article "Willow shoots", we set ourselves the goal of studying the morphological and anatomical signs of shoots of goat willow (Salix caprea L.), growing in the Far East to diagnose and determine the authenticity of this type of plant raw materials.
