EXPERIENCE IN THE TREATMENT OF PROXIMAL HUMERUS FRACTURES

Summary. The article presents the experience of treatment of fractures of the proximal humerus on the basis of the trauma department of “Kryvyi Rih City Clinical Hospital №2”. In the period from 2014. by 2024, 103 patients were hospitalized. Of these, 24 patients were treated conservatively - immobilization with a bandage or plaster bandage of the Deso type or a bandage bandage was used. 79 patients underwent surgery - depending on the type of fracture, as well as on the patient’s abilities, L-shaped, T-shaped plates and plates with angular stability of the “Philos” type were used. Most patients who underwent various types of osteosynthesis had good and satisfactory results.
