A STUDY ON LOGISTICS PRACTICES IN CHAKIAT PRIVATE LIMITED WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE ON THOOTHUKUDI DISTRICT

This study investigates the logistics practices of Chakiat Private Limited in Thoothukudi, with data collected from 100 respondents, including employees, managers, and clients involved in the company's operations.The research aims to analyze the efficiency of supply chain management, transportation systems, inventory control, and customer service.By utilizing both qualitative and quantitative approaches, the study explores how logistics practices impact operational efficiency, cost management, and customer satisfaction.The findings highlight the role of technology, workforce expertise, and infrastructure in enhancing logistics performance.Additionally, the study identifies key challenges such as regulatory issues, port congestion, and environmental concerns.The analysis provides valuable insights into how Chakiat Private Limited is adapting to the dynamic logistics landscape, contributing to improved operational strategies and competitive advantage in the maritime logistics sector in South India.
