Analysis and Reliability Research of Shanghai Metro Network Topology
With the acceleration of urbanization, the subway system plays an increasingly crucial role in urban transportation. However, the complexity and vulnerability of subway networks may be affected by various uncertainties, posing challenges to passenger safety and operational stability. Therefore, using the Shanghai Metro as an example, this paper conducts a topological analysis of its network structure to mitigate the impact of uncertainties on the subway network and ensure passenger safety and operational stability. The study models the Shanghai Metro using the Space L model to investigate its network characteristics. Subsequently, comprehensive evaluation metrics are employed to rank the nodes of the Shanghai Metro comprehensively. Finally, random and deliberate attacks are applied to study the robustness of the Shanghai Metro network. The research findings indicate that deliberate attacks are more likely to cause the collapse of the subway network compared to random attacks.
