Optimization ideas of Hubei Province's two-pillar pension insurance system in response to the challenges of aging
This paper explores the mechanisms and optimization paths of the pension insurance system in Hubei Province to address the challenges posed by a significantly aging society. This study uses statistical analysis and economic modeling to examine how basic and enterprise pension insurance affect the elderly's living standards, healthcare services, and social participation. The research underscores the importance of the social security system in fostering common prosperity, reducing income inequality, and enhancing residents' income and consumption levels. Policy recommendations are proposed, including expanding the coverage of pension insurance, addressing socio-economic polarization, and promoting the integration of enterprise growth with employee welfare. These measures aim to achieve high-quality development and inclusive growth, ensuring the social security system effectively supports the aging population while contributing to broader socio-economic goals.
