FUNDAMENTAL STUDY ON HIGH STRENGTH MORTAR USING RECYCLE CEMENT AND MINERAL ADMIXTURE

Properties of high strength mortar using mineral admixtures and cement-based powder extracted from sludge separated from ready-mixed concrete was examined for the purpose of assisting effective treatment of returned concrete. The results are as follows. 1) From the viewpoint of mortar fluidity, it was found that mortar with a high mass replacement rate of mineral admixtures in the binder has a faster flow rate. 2) From the viewpoint of mortar compressive strength, it was found that products using mortar with ground granulated blast furnace slag do not tend to lose strength even if the recycled cement replacement rate is high.
